The school year is ending on Friday. I’m both excited and nervous. Finals week is this week and I feel like there’s so much to read and review. I just want to be able to go home on Friday evening to tell my parents that first year (for the second time around) is over and that giving me another shot was worth all the effort and money and time and heartache.
It seems like everyone else is doing something great with their lives in the real world while I’m still here staying up til the sun rises trying to stuff information in my brain and trying so hard to make the grade. Don’t get me wrong — med school is amazing (terrifying, yes, but amazing nonetheless)! But sometimes I wonder what it’s like to not still be studying and making something of myself right at this very moment in whichever corner of the world.

Kanya-kanya ang dahilan kung bakit nagdodoktor ang mga tao. Walang maling dahilan. Ang problema ay nag-uugat sa kawalan ng kasiguraduhan. Kaya may umiiyak. Kaya may nagku-quit. Kaya may nasisiraan ng bait.
Nakakalimutang higit sa lahat ay ang kagustuhang maging doktor. Saka pa lang pumapasok ang iba pang rason, na bawat isa ay nakasandal sa una.
Dahil sa buhay, ang pinakamatinong sagot ay ang pinakasimple. Madalas nga, sa sobrang simple e tatanungin mo ang iyong sarili, “Kailangan pa ba ng dahilan?”
